Just click the ShadowGlide™ handle and slide it up, with one finger if you wish, it’s that easy. The Unity™ comes near assembled in its box.

ShadowGlide™
Brilliant engineering and clever collaboration of working parts allow the Shadowspec Unity™ to open in one smooth motion. Use as little as 1 finger to deploy your umbrella in 3 seconds.
ShadowLift™
The gas-piston assisted lift allows for ease of use and removes the need for internal componentry that can break and ruin your day in the sun.
ShadowLock™
The integrated wind-protection and umbrella rotating system allows for all-day protection from the elements and 360-degree rotation of the umbrella.
ShadowHub
The central hub features a built-in LED light that’s easily controlled with an optional smart battery. Perfect for evening enjoyment of the outdoors.

We’ve developed a very clever smart-battery that is controlled by your smartphone via the new Shadowspec App. The lighting system provides bright light that can be used for reading or dimmed down to evoke a classy mood. The app comes with some great tools such as:
- Auto timer functions
- Dimmable
- Countdown timer
- On/ Off
- Link multiple umbrellas and lights
The Shadowhub features a built-in 48 LED light. Running off of a powerful Lithium smart battery provides light between 4-8 hours depending on the brightness setting you choose. The umbrellas can be wired up to run off mains for commercial settings.
